Born in Rayong, near Pattaya, Kru Ram had his first Muay Thai fight at 8 years old. He lost but won 150 baht (about $5 USD).
When he was about 11 years old he was the Champion of Rayong. He went on to have over 200 fights with bouts at Lumpinee and Omnoi.
He regularly fought on Omnoi and was on Channel 3. The stadium fighter was a muay fimeu with good kicks.
